One room was founded by students from United World College Changshu China in 2021. The name takes inspiration from Virginia Woolf’s novel A Room of One’s Own

We aim to provide self-actualization platforms for personal empowerment through self-reflection and dialogues. In specific, we target gender-related issues by creating a communal space of communication for everyone. No specific gender beliefs are enforced.
